Greeting from the very great kingdom - DenmarkDear all my friends around the world! I send you all a little greeting from the very great kingdom - Denmark. A lot of interesting things has happened in the past, which I would like to shear with all of you. The main event is my new degree: Master of Science in Engineering, which means I have finished my loooooong education recently. Meanwhile my Master thesis I received a scholarship, from the state, to make a PhD in polymer (plastic!) pipes for drinking water! Which I have just started at. And yes I know it sounds quite boring, everybody tells me that!!! But actual I am really proud; in Denmark a PhD is rather an job as a researcher than an education, which makes the PhD fee in Denmark to be the highest in the world!!! The aim of my work is to figure out if it is advisable to use polymer pipes for drinking water, which has become a "small" political subject in Denmark - this is the reason the Danish state is supporting me with the money for the PhD:o) Beside this, I have nothing else to clarify! But if one of you will come by the great capital Copenhagen in the near future? I will be able to give you the best tour guide, to all the great salsa places and cheapest beer bars;o) Take care, and I wish I could see you all again soon! Martin Denberg |
